For those people who did not follow my posts a year ago, I absolutely lambasted Barack Obama when he was running for the presidency. I went so far as to give prophetic words about the then Senator Obama. Most of which did not come to pass. (See here, here, here, and here.)
So, what gives me the right to now speak prophetic words about President Obama or any politician?
First, the Lord did not remove my calling. He did not say, “Larry, you have messed up so much that I do not want you to ever prophesy again. Sit down and shut up forever, okay?”
Not at all. In fact, the Lord recently spoke to my heart and said, “Go on the offense again.”
Second, I understand how tough spiritual warfare and the battles are. We will lose some struggles here and there, and make mistakes, but that does not give us the right to quit. Get up. Learn. And keep on going. (At least, that’s my attitude; and it should be yours, too.)
Third, I did not call myself; the Lord Jesus did. With my calling, He gave me enough grace to finish the course set before me. And knowing me, I will probably have to live at the Throne of Grace because of my mistakes, asking for more grace…and more grace…and more grace.
Fourth, my calling is mainly to the West coast, especially San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver and Anchorage. But because President Obama’s policies affect the Left Coast, I will also speak out against his ungodly policies.
Fifth, I believe in grace to the nth degree. Every mistaken word that I have ever spoken in the past is still up on this blog site. If you like, check them over. This is a great way for me to stay humble … and also be accountable for my words at the same time.
As usual, I’m open to your corrections or words. If you find that I’m not open, lambast me on your site. Okay?
And oh yes! Thank God, I still have a sense of humor.

funny, it’s the ones I’m right about I feel worse over! When I see stuff coming, I’m always the one who says it, and I annoy myself. seriously. Blessings come with an immense amount of responsibility… and sometimes that sucks.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m as passionate about God as anyone can be, but sometimes, I just don’t understand why I need to know.

cindy,
“…but sometimes, I just don’t understand why I need to know…”
So, did you phone Honey? That’s the exact same question she asked me about something the Lord told her.
My answer to her: “The Lord considers you a friend, and friends tell each other things.”
