But any prophet who falsely claims to speak in my name or who speaks in the name of another god must die.’

But you may wonder, ‘How will we know whether or not a prophecy is from the Lord?’ If the prophet speaks in the Lord’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the Lord did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared. (Deuteronomy 18:20-22)

Thank God, I do not live  under the Old Covenant. If I did, there would have been numerous people lined up outside my door on the morning of November 5, each with a stone in hand, ready to do God a favor by permanently removing my voice from the internet.

Why? Because of the false prophecies stemming out of these two incorrect prophetic words: here and here.

As the noted philosopher, Erma Bombeck once said, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”  So, following her advice, I plan on using my false prophecies as a basis for a teaching series on prophecy.

Sometimes, wisdom comes from learning about pitfalls and what caused them so that you will not have the same problems.

If this interests you, stop back in the future.
