Christian Gobble-De-Gook Aimed at Sarah Palin

I sent the following letter to the Editor of World Net Daily in reply to Alan Keyes’ article, entitled Gov. Sarah Palin: Unequally Yoked:

Dear Editor:
To listen to Alan Keyes in his article, Gov. Sarah Palin: Unequally Yoked, you would think that this Christian woman has violated Christian integrity by becoming John McCain’s running mate. Oh no! What will God think about Sarah?
But let me ask Alan something: Why did God allow Esther to join King Ahasuerus’ political party? After all, John McCain looks like a saint next to this bloody dictator, right?
So, what exactly does the Bible say about Esther: …Yet who knows whether you [Esther] have come to the kingdom for such a time as this. (Esther 4:14)
In the midst of cut and paste, goble-de-gook from Keys’ pen, it is easy to forget that our God is a Redeemer who places His chosen Esthers in the right places, at the right times, to change the destinies of nations.
Larry

As a parting note, what did Esther do to be chosen queen by King Ahasuerus? She shacked up with the King for a night. Now, how does this fit into Christian-Judeo integrity and ethics? Probably, not well.
